The jewel of the Italian Renaissance, the Castle of Ancy is distinguished by its elegance and magnificent frescoes that adorn its interior walls. Built by Sebastiano Serlio, who would have participated in the design of the castle of Maulnes, Ancy-le-Franc welcomed the greatest of the time and especially François I.
Tanlay Castle is a magnificent example of the French Renaissance, and is a private castle that stands out for its moat surrounding the castle and elegant towers. Located just 15 minutes from the castle of Maulnes, the guided tour will allow you to visit some of its magnificent rooms.

Church that dominates Thunder, Saint-Pierre has undergone many changes over time. Almost destroyed during the fire that ravaged Tonnerre in 1556, it was rebuilt only at the end of the 16th century.

While in Tanlay, come and discover the Basse Cour, a restaurant where everything is home and successful! If you do not have time to stop at the restaurant, go to Picoche, the famous butcher of Tanlay where you can buy delicious pies in croûte, black pudding or other delicacies berrichonne. And finally, if you liked the cookies from the shop of Maulnes, go to the Gourmand Universe, the bakery of Tanlay.

A Maulnes
All year round, the Château de Maulnes organizes activities for everyone. During school holidays, treasure hunts with three levels of difficulty are offered. All year long, the castle offers an autonomous escape game, renewed every three years.
